Engaging with Business - short term partnerships

Shorter-term research programmes of between one to five years in length often involve groups of industrial companies working with academic researchers in ECS on projects funded from the EU or UK government. Examples of this include AgentLink, Pasoa, FingartPrint, and eChase.

Companies can contribute to such programmes either in cash or in contributions in kind. They can be a significant way to magnify your own research investments by obtaining matched funding to pay for academic partners.

These programmes are supported by grants in the range of hundreds of thousands of pounds and include a Principal Investigator and a small research team.
