About Arm

At Arm, we work closely with many of today’s most innovative companies, and our broad ecosystem of partners, to create energy-efficient technology that is shaping the connected world.

Our hardware and software is intrinsic to the development of technology in billions of products, which touch the lives of 75 per cent of the world’s population. From bankers to farmers, students to surgeons, and start-ups to leading companies, we’re bringing people and devices increasingly together.

Because of our global presence, we have a diverse community of dedicated, innovative and talented professionals. With an inclusive and open workplace, we encourage our people to share their ideas – supporting their growth and celebrating their unique contributions.

Students

Every year, we offer internships to students across our growing engineering teams around the globe. At Arm, we are committed to providing our interns with an extraordinary experience which enriches both their personal and technical development.

You’ll play your part in shaping the extraordinary whilst working alongside industry experts. Working on interesting projects is exciting but we also know how important it is to receive support through your journey. Throughout your time with us, you’ll have the constant opportunity to develop by working with our teams and attending tailored training sessions. We will also ensure its not all work and no play by organising offline social experiences that enable you to build your network.

It doesn’t stop there. Once you’ve completed your internship, we may offer you the opportunity to join us in spreading the Arm message with our campus teams. What’s more, our commitment to developing future talent means that we offer a large number of our interns to join us as graduates.

Graduates and PhDs

Most of our graduates have a Bachelors or Masters equivalent in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Computer Science, but we fully recognise a range of other related qualifications. We also hire graduates into our ever-growing IT team.

Through Arm’s early career scheme, we’ll enable you to transfer your current passion into engineering excellence through our structured two-year journey that combines the opportunity to experience a number of disciplines combined with real and challenging work before you start to take on greater responsibility.

Over time you’ll have the chance to architect a career across the business, whether that’s focusing on technical leadership, roles that interface with the partner ecosystem or business leadership roles. You’ll also be recognised and rewarded for the extraordinary things you achieve.

Some of the key milestones in your two-year journey will include:

• A tailored on boarding programme

• Global Graduate Conference

• Access to an online knowledge base

• Rotations – Opportunities across projects, the business or internationally

• Career development and personal effectiveness workshops

• A Graduate Finale celebration

• Opportunities to join in TeamArm CSR and volunteering programmes

We also know that many students want to continue research work after their education – that’s why every year, we hire many PhD students into our Research teams. Our research portfolio is diverse, and for that reason we look to hire subject-matter PhD experts to inspire the next generation of technology
