Dr Suan Hui Pu

Dr Suan Hui Pu is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Southampton Malaysia Campus. He earned his PhD degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and his MEng degree in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London. Dr Pu has substantial experience in the development of micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS), including design, modelling, cleanroom fabrication and electrical characterisation. Prior to joining USMC, he was with Infineon Technologies, working on frontend yield enhancement for automotive ASICs. His current research interests include sensors and actuators, sensor materials, internet of things (IoT) and energy harvesting. Dr Pu is currently serving as a technical committee member for IEEE Electronics Packaging Technology Conference (EPTC) and a reviewer for several academic journals, including IEEE JMEMS, IEEE Electron Device Letters and IOP JMM.
