Dimitrios Alanis

Dimitrios Alanis (S'13) obtained his 5-year Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki  in 2011 and his MSc degree in Wireless Communications from the University of Southampton in 2012. He joined the Southampton Wireless (SW) group of the University of Southampton in 2013 and, he is currently working towards the PhD degree in the field of Quantum-Assisted Communications.

Dimitrios's research interests include quantum computation and quantum information theory, quantum search algorithms, cooperative communications, resource allocation for heterogeneous networks, proactive caching, bio-inspired optimization algorithms and classical and quantum game theory.
