I completed a Bachelors degree in Photography in 2000, where my research focussed on identity and online identity without an image. I was awarded a Masters in Gender, Sexuality and Culture in 2016, from Birkbeck College. My dissertation focused on Gender in Public Spaces, specifically looking at how women share their narratives of Street Harassment online. I am in the process of ending my MSc year of the iPhD in Web Science, and going into my first PhD year. My dissertation is on the subject of the Web and the advancement of feminist activism.

I have taught Art and Photography in Seconday school, both home and abroad in New Zealand.
