Biography

Although born elsewhere, my family home is on a farm at Newmills, a small village in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland.

Currently I am professor of Control Systems Theory and Design in ECS. My current research interests are given above

and involve substantial collaborations with groups in other faculties at Southampton and overseas.

I am currently the Editor-in-Chief of The International Journal of Control.
