I am currently a PhD student researching data integration systems security. I am also a lecturer at King Saud University, Saudi Arabia. I have taught many undergraduate courses in programming, databases, system analysis and design. I also have supervised many students in different IT topics. During my time in University of Southampton, I am always looking to collaborate with researchers to build academic networks and to participate in security related projects.

Research

Research interests

I am interested in building secure systems from the beginning, as I believe that security should propagate from early development of software. Therefore, my PhD aims to develop a set of guidelines that can be used to build secure Data Integration Systems and prevent data leakage attacks. I am also interested in security guidance, governance and management and to bridge the gap between management and development teams.
