While working for Alcan I studied web design at the Ecole Multimedia in Paris and started programming using simple scripting languages. Driven by a growing interest in programming I then studied computer science with the french open university. While studying I became a freelance web programmer and designer, and worked for a while as a PHP programmer for Nvision in Luxembourg. Finally, I worked as a programmer for the eLearning team at the School of Medicine, before starting a PhD with the Web and Internet Science (WAIS) research group (I was previously a member of the Learning Societies Lab). My PhD focuses on using semanthc web technologies to help medical students improve their clinical reasoning skills. Through all this work, my passion is using design and technology to help people learn, create, and communicate. Qualifications
