Dr. Spyros Stathopoulos
I was born in Athens, Greece in 1987. I obtained my Applied Physics diploma in 2009 and my MSc in Microelectronics and Nanotechnology in 2011, both from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). My undergraduate and MSc work focused on the realisation of sensors based on metallic nanoparticles as well as electron beam lithography for patterning thin nanoparticle films. In 2015 I was awarded my PhD from the Department of Physics NTUA for my work on the use of infrared laser annealing for shallow junction engineering in silicon and germanium. Additionally, during 2015, I worked as a research assistant in project NanoARM at the NTUA providing laboratory assinstance in fabrication and charaterisation of metaloxide memristive devices. As of May, 2016 I am with the NanoGroup working on functional oxides in memristive devices.
