Postgraduate research student
Watthanasak Jeamwatthanachai, the short name 'Hall', has been working as a researcher at National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC) for almost 10 years in his career. In the fields, Hall had worked in 3 different research groups whose responsibilities are diverse in the fields of wireless sensor network, low-level design, and real-time operating system, human-computer interaction (HCI), user experience (UX), and indoor navigation system
1. Embedded Technology System Research group (2007-2009)
2. Industrial Prototype and Product Research group (2009-2012)
3. Speech Processing Technology (2012-Presents)
During the study herein the University of Southampton, Hall has been graduated with MSc in Computer Science specialising in Multiagent systems. MSc dissertation is 'Bidding Optimization for Display Advertising under Budget Constraints'. This research has used a lot of techniques in Machine Learning such as multi-armed bandits, the bayesian network, and greedy algorithm.
After the graduation, Hall is now doing PhD under the Electronics and Software System (ESS) Research group with his topic titled 'Data Representation for Indoor Navigation by Visually Impaired and Blind people' whose is related to accessibility, human-computer interaction, and information and knowledge engineering.
