Yiyang Chen

Yiyang Chen was born on 26th, October 1990 in China. He obtained his MEng degree in Imperial College London in 2013. He registered a PhD position in University of Southampton under the supervision of Dr Bing Chu and Dr Christopher T. Freeman in 2013.

Research

Research interests

My PhD research topic is point-to-point iterative learning control with optimal time point selection. I am also interested about advanced robotics such as massive production line, UAV and 3D printer.

2014.03 - 2016.01 Demonstrator in 3D printing workshop -Give students and staffs a demonstration on how to use the 3D printer.

2014.10 - 2015.09 Student Representative of VLC Group -Represent students from VLC group to attend meetings of the ECS graduate school committee.

2016.11 - Now Demonstrator in ECS Undergraduate Lab -Give the underdraduate students a demonstration on how to do the pendulum experiments.
