The University of Southampton

Multimillion pound laboratory investment

The University of Southampton is one of the best places in the world to study electronics and electrical engineering, computer science and IT. One of the reasons for this is the commitment to ensuring that students can expect the latest technology and state-of-the-art facilities to support their degree programmes.

The summer of 2015 saw a £4m investment in our labs, funded by the University and the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE). This multimillion pound refurbishment has completely overhauled and re-equipped the undergraduate facilities for computing and for electrical and electronic engineering.
