Strong Presence of the Tony Davies High Voltage Laboratory at the 2nd IEEE International Conference on Dielectrics ICD 2018

The IEEE 2018 2nd International Conference on Dielectrics ICD held in Budapest, Hungary, from Sunday 1st until Thursday 5th July 2018. The ICD 2018 conference featured 15 papers from staff and students of the Tony Davies High Voltage Laboratory, University of Southampton. At the ICD 2018 conference, there were about 45 papers presented and 187 papers discussed over four days. At least one paper in each session activity was from Southampton. Two of the TDHVL PhD students, Istebreq Saeedi and Alison Shaw won the best presentation awards at the ICD 2018.

In addition Dr. Thomas Andritsch was responsible for organising and presenting a tutorial titled “Electrical and thermal properties of interfaces”.

The ICD is an interdisciplinary forum that provides a unique opportunity for researchers from industry, academia and research centres to come together to review their research activities.
