I joined University of Southampton as Research Fellow in the European SUNFISH project in July 2016. I received a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Pisa (Italy) in October 2016. My PhD thesis focused on formal methods for specification, analysis and implementation of access control and its application in autonomic computing systems.

Research

Research interests

My research interests are in the area of cyber security of modern computing systems. As part of the SUNFISH project, my recent interests focus on cloud computing security and blockchain technology, both as an infrastructure upon which building innovative systems and as securely grounded next generation of blockchain exploitation. 

The main outcomes of my past reserach are the following langauges and their analyisis tools: FACPL, a formal language for attribute-based access control systems; PSCEL, a policy-based language for the development of self-adaptive systems.
