Jan Buermann MSc

Postgraduate research student

I am a PhD student in the Agents, Interaction and Complexity (AIC) research group in the Department of Electronics and Computer Science (ECS) at the University of Southampton. Before I joined Southampton, I read computer science at the University of Paderborn. There, I received my MSc on the topic of routing games under uncertainty.

Research interests

I am interested in theoretical research in the field of Algorithmic game theory especially Mechanism design. This encompasses the foundations of systems and applications to assist autonomous agents and humans. Fields of applications include online auctions and signalling in uncertain routing games.
