I do research in the field of applied and computational mechanics in connection with solid state physics and biophysics. I use techniques from applied mechanics and solid state physics along with finite element analysis and data clustering to study a variety of problems underpinned by buckling of coupled structures. These problem range from engineering (split beam stability) to analysing mechanics behind cell growth and division.
