My research explores long-term technological change in the Web industry. Drawing on fields such as economics, cultural evolution and sociology, I am gathering theoretically informed and data driven insights into how Web technology developed over the last three decades. My current methodological approach relies primarily on patent records as a source for quantitative analysis.
