My research explores long-term technological change and innovation in the Web industry. Drawing on fields such as economic history, management and cultural evolution, I am gathering theoretically informed and data-driven insights into how Web technology developed over the last three decades. My current methodological approach relies primarily on patent records as a source for quantitative analysis.
