I chose to come and study in Southampton because of the excellent Electronics rankings, ECS facilities, the clean room and the success of academic staff.
I have everything here that I need to study. The library is open 24/7 and my lecturers are always supportive.
When I was feeling very low after the Christmas break, I talked to my module leader. He helped me a lot during that time.
In the Electronic MSc we’re able to study other modules from different programmes, such as MEMS and Biodevices. Learning different subjects has given me the chance to work in another area.
University Accommodation
I live at City Gate Way Halls, its exclusive for post-grad students. We have a common room and a gym downstairs. The halls are safe and provide fast internet. My flat mates are also master’s students. Living in halls and sharing the same kitchen has given us the opportunity to make foreign friends and understand and respect each others cultures.
