UG and MSc students who choose specific options may conduct experiments in the HV lab. Those working with a TDHVL academic may also conduct some of their Part 3/Part4/MSc project work here. The benefit to the student is in the form of access to facilities which are not widely available, as well as being able to work alongside PhD students and research staff who can be an excellent source of advice and support. This sometimes leads to UG students being able to collaborate with TDHVL researchers to get their work published. NOTE: However, we do need to be careful about how much we market UG/MSc access to the building, as in practice this is relatively limited.
