Southampton is part of the European Union’s Erasmus programme, which  offers the opportunity to undertake a period of study or a work placement in Europe of between three and 10 months as a part of your degree programme.

We have links with a number of relevant universities and can provide language preparation before you go. Although the overseas section of the programme is taught in English, there will still be plenty of opportunities to improve your language skills.

The Erasmus programme is co-ordinated across the University by the International Office.
