One of the practical elements that runs throughout the second year is a series of design exercises. And in contrast to the labs that you’ve been doing elsewhere on your degree at that stage, which are about learning the tools, techniques and different methods, the design exercises are about using your initiative and your expertise and all of this stuff you learn to solve real problems.
