The ACOHIR (Accurate Colour High Resolution) project will work on recording and reproduction of three-dimensional objects for electronic publishing and the consumer market. A 3D scanner system and software similarto QuickTime-VR for viewing 3D objects. There will be a commercial product and demonstrations of the technology. The National Gallery, The Louvre and several museums in Greece are among the partners.
6INIT was a pan-European IPv6 deployment project featuring 12 European partners and five IPv6 clusters. It was the first EU project that focused on IPv6 technology. The project ran from January 2000 through to April 2001, and was successful in gaining early deployment experience of international and local IPv6 networks.
